I know they get a bad rap, but I really loved them in their prime. The first two albums were pretty incredible, and they were also VERY good live when I saw them in '99 in San Antonio. It was the Joe & Harry Freeman Coliseum, and it was up close & personal - very well done.

Although their 3rd album, Weathered, seemed significantly less creative -and much more commercial- I really enjoyed their 4th release, and most recent album Full Circle.. released 10 years after Human Clay in 2009.

These two are without a doubt my two favorite Creed tunes. There are many more, though. Mark Tremonti, currently with Alter Bridge is an amazing song writer, and wizard on the axe.

I like this new progressive hard rock/metal band. Dare I say they're very Dream theater -ish, but with slightly better vocals. I'm sorry for always trashing on James LaBrie, but hey.. it is what it is. His vocal chords are not aging well. Also the vocals are mixed a little bit too loud over everything else. Otherwise, this band is tremendous!

Anybody remember David Robinson's 1994 quadruple-double? Hakeem Olajuwon did it, as did Nate Thurmond, and probably a handful of other guys before certain stats were officially scored. But only 4 have gone down as official, and the 4th player on this exclusive list was another Spur - Alvin Robertson in 1986. Here's a great Spurs Nation article about Robinson's historic game.
