3. Lost Not Forgotten
4. This is the Life

Brand New Beavis And Butt-head

REVIEWniverse has exclusively learned from an anonymous source that Mike Judge is currently outlining 30 new episodes of his iconic animated comedy Beavis and Butt-Head for its native network.

The source conceded that plans for actual broadcast are not yet cemented, or even a given, but confirmed that the King of the Hill/Office Space/Idiocracy maestro is definitely in the midst of writing new B and B material with the hopes of a full-throttle return.

Even better news for fans is that, should this come to pass, Judge plans on retaining the show’s original ghetto-tech aesthetic, right down to the faded color palatte. The source also reveals that the Extract director intends on keeping B and B’s format identical to its original sketch-videos-sketch incarnation, but with more contemporary music clips for the cartoon slacker-duo to skewer.

This is cool news! I wonder if Judge will age them or leave them the same age? Will they suddenly like modern rock? Gonna be interesting to find out.

Brand New Louis CK

Here's your bad language warning!

Via

Then a few days later he appeared at his premier of his new F/X show "Louie".

It is a good show. (Sidenote: Louis’s last show, "Lucky Louie", was not a good show, as much as it pains me to say it. I watched the whole thing, and I told people it had “promise,” which is to say, I TRIED.) Two episodes aired back-to-back last night, but we will confine our discussion to the pilot/premiere because some of us, it could be any of us, really, only watched the first episode, and are saving the second episode for a DVR treat, and cannot be fired because we quit. So: the bus sketch was charming enough, and I laughed out loud at “you red-headed nobody piece of shit” (context is useful, but so watch the show!), and the date with Chelsea Peretti had some really great moments, especially the bathroom sequence and the old helicopter gag. This show has a lot of promise, and I really mean it this time!

But here is the thing: the best part of the show was Louis’s stand-up, which is what happens when you are The Best Stand-Up Comedian in America. These interstitial “tone pieces,” meant to set the stage for the sketches, were by far the funniest and most honest part of the whole thing. And watching these jokes (for the second time*) kind of made you, or at least made me, wish that the show was just a half hour of Louis telling jokes on stage. No offense to the sketches, which were some of the funnier, best written, and most interesting things I have seen on TV in awhile, but in side-by-side comparison, they lose every time. And so, please enjoy all of the stand-up bits from last night’s premiere episode of Louie:

I don't know I kinda liked "Lucky Louie". His co-star was Pamela Adlon, who is also the voice of Bobby Hill on King of the Hill, and who alsu appeared on many episodes of Californication with David Duchovny. I was actually upset when it was discontinued. I think Louis CK is one of the best around right now.

Brand New Seinfeld

Lady Gaga aparently went to two consecutive baseball games recently. One Yankees, one Mets. You probably saw the news report that she was scantily clad at both, and was even recorded giving the camera "double middle fingers" at one.

And soon after, Jerry Seinfeld was asked about it.

This is what transpired.

But only then did I realize that this was already happening. "Seinfeld reunites with Hernandez on air tonight". So yeah, check that out.

This is incredible timing. Is it not? Jerry is one of the best. His show was top-5 of all-time. All of this isn't just a coincidence!

In case you're still here instead of there:

Lifelong New York Mets’ fan Jerry Seinfeld will call three innings of the Mets-Detroit Tigers game tonight on SNY alongside a person who made one of the most memorable cameos ever on his eponymous NBC comedy.

Keith Hernandez, the former Met who now does color on the Mets’ TV broadcasts, appeared in the 1992 “Seinfeld” episode “The Boyfriend.”

No word if Hernandez will have any “magic loogie” with him, or the whereabouts of second-spitter.

~See~

And then I come upon this - OMG

"Seinfeld, Hernandez to team up in booth" 6/22/2010 - 8:52 CT

It will be Seinfeld's first visit to the SNY booth and the first time he and Hernandez discuss the episode in the 18 years since it was filmed. The two have been friendly ever since meeting on the set, at which point Hernandez was the comedian's favorite player. During his radio appearance with Somers, Seinfeld said he wasn't sure if he'd be doing more play-by-play or analysis during his time in the booth. He wasn't intimidated by either.

Joked Seinfeld: "How hard is it to say, 'There's a hit'?"

Lady Gaga will be at Madison Square Garden again on July 6th!

And 7th... And 8th...
