The image above is a cartoon drawn by one Tyson Murphy for his father Dale Murphy. Dale was one of my all-time favorite players growing up as a baseball-loving kiddo. This is a great story I was turned onto at Deadspin. The article is written by Deadspin's Barry Petchesky:

Probably my all-time favorite Pantera tune. I used to crank on this song as I entered Kyle Seale Parkway on the way to Cedar Creek Golf Course in San Antonio. I know Rick Trevino knows the feeling of driving to Cedar Creek. It's a special place.

It's weird how things connect with other things, but Cedar Creek was my favorite course for a long, long time. I love music, and will always be listening to something good whenever I'm in the car. I usually make it a point to put on something great before a golf round, and I'm Broken & Cedar Creek just stuck together many times.

..from 45rpm to 33⅓rpm. Very cool - takes me back to when I was a kid, and played around with this when there were actually vinyl records and record players on which to do it!

Anyone who knows me knows this might just be my all-time favorite song. I like the original speed better, but it sounds so ominous this way.
