Big NBA FA Deals? Not So Fast..
by SI.com's Sam Amick

A visual comes to mind as it relates to the most unique of NBA free-agency periods that has unofficially begun. Picture a pool surrounded by the league's general managers and owners, all of them turning left and right to see what the other is doing while peering down at the water with a shared look of trepidation.
This is a pool party, after all, so someone will have to jump. But with big men Nene, Tyson Chandler and Marc Gasol waiting for them in the deep end and the talent level of free agents so shallow compared to last year's class led by LeBron James, no one is in the mood for a cannonball just yet.
"I think what you're seeing is that nobody considers anyone in this free-agent market to be a clear-cut, franchise guy that we have to do everything within our power to get," said one agent with a client near the top of the mediocre mix. "No one wants to be the first to give that stupid, crazy contract and have that article saying what a sham the lockout was."
As a result, the third day of talks between agents and teams came and went without any major news of a big-name player leaning hard in the direction of a particular team. While oral or signed agreements are not allowed until Dec. 9, after the tentative collective bargaining agreement is ratified, a mutual understanding of some sort is still possible. But the pace has been even slower than expected.

The Haircut

dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, "I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week." The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a "thank you" card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week." The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it!
Thanks Clarence!

They Walk Among Us

Some guy bought a new fridge for his house. To get rid of his old fridge, he put it in his front yard and hung a sign on it saying: "Free to good home. You want it, you take it..."
For three days the fridge sat there without anyone looking twice. He eventually decided that people were too mistrustful of this deal. So he changed the sign to read: "Fridge for sale $50."
The next day someone stole it..

How To Replace Your Cell Phone Charger
...for free!

From an AskReddit member: "Go to a hotel and say you think you lost it there. It's the #1 most left behind item at hotels, so most places have a big bin filled with every phone charger imaginable.
Reddit UPDATE: I just received this note from a reader on the subject:
"I work for the second largest conference hotel in my city. You have no idea the size box we have of chargers left behind. 90 percent are idiot blackberry chargers. This works 100% of the time, we never verify that anyone stays here we just let them go shopping for there charger. Hell we even will give people a charger if they call down to the front desk and say they forgot theirs!"
Nice!

Your Source For Watching NFL Network's Football Games
(... and a LOT of other things)

If it bothers you as much as it bothers me that the NFL won't allow most cable companies to broadcast certain games, which they have scheduled to air ONLY on their own network, without a hefty fee that most don't want to pay, then this is the link you need. Sure, you can purchase the NFL Network. It's readily available through most satellite companies, and a few cable companies, but not mine. So if it's available to you, feel free to purchase rights to view these games. The extra fee is usually not cheap.
Or you can click on the NFL logo above, and bookmark this site which shows lots of different TV programs online... including these NFL games, NBA games, movies, etc.
Thanks Chris!

Universal Studios Free Photo Booth
These Universal Studios free photo booth prank videos are really pretty funny. Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel both used to promote these funny prank videos during their respective shows. I think even Ellen DeGeneres has even done it. Anyway, here is one of the newer ones.
