Sweet Penrose Triangle Gif

Via - (NSFW)

The Penrose Triangle was first created by Oscar Reutersvärd in 1934. Mathematician Roger Penrose popularised it in the 1950s, describing it as "impossibility in its purest form". (Source)

Whenever I cross a sign that says "dip", I always reach into my pocket for my can of Skoal... Family isn't usually amused.

This is just one of the beautiful pieces by Albert Beirstadt.

Here is a site you can go to see a lot more of his artwork. The man was apparently a genius. And a pretty good painter, too.

An Incredible Tattoo

Via

I've actually seen this on several sites now, and it's about time I post it. Why? Because I presume it's on the same arm. I mean why would he get the same tattoo twice, since it reads something different upside down? That's why.

Yeah you're seeing "art&science" one way and "philosophy" the other.

Too cool!

45 Incredible Futuristic Scifi 3D City Illustrations

A few weeks ago I posted an incredible picture of what the world might look like in the year 3000, along with a link to more of Radoxist's cool creations. Today over at The Presurfer, Gerard posted a link to another 40+ incredible images just like this one. "Worth enough?" by Radoxist, the aforementioned image, is one of the collection.

Some are a little futuristic for me, and some really make sense, but they're all very well done.

My favorite one, the banner image ("Skyport" by James Paick) is one of them ...and here are a few more:

(Click images to enlarge for detail!)

City T25 by Grimdar

Mass Effect 2 Citadel by droot1986

Metroplex-Harbour District by Christian Beyer

The detail is pretty awesome in some of these!

Now, let's go see the other 41!
