Casey Anthony Photographed In Ohio

Casey Anthony was hanging out in Ohio this past weekend... and now new photos - the first since her release from jail - have surfaced showing the 25-year-old hiding in plain sight during a mid-day shopping trip.
Casey was photographed on Sunday - trying to blend in by wearing an Ohio State University baseball cap, a tight-fitting top and glasses as she walked around town... stopping at an Old Navy to check out some dresses.
Anthony has several relatives who live in Ohio - but it's unclear if she has spent time them. Sources extremely close to Anthony tell us she has been bouncing around the country ever since her release from jail after being acquitted of murdering her daughter.
Next stop - no one seems to know. (Source)
Actually, she apparently is supposed to appear back in Orlando tomorrow for a probation "check-in".
Here's the full TMZ article - complete with 27 pictures, if you feel like it.

New Marilyn Monroe Statue Erected in Chicago
That pose, that dress, the blonde hair, the luscious lips ...

A 26-foot tall statue of Marilyn Monroe towering above tourists in the middle of Chicago was unveiled on Friday to much applause.
Desperate to keep her identity a secret until Friday, workers who put the statue in place on Thursday had to put a rather unsightly cloth bag over the poor girl's head, albeit it one in red, white and blue.
The statue, by artist Seward Johnson, replicates the actress's famous subway scene in 1955 film The Seven Year Itch and was unveiled on Chicago's Pioneer Court.
In the scene Monroe stands over a subway grate as a breeze from a train passing below blows her skirt over her panties.
It was shot in New York but as the Windy City, Chicago seems like the second best location for such an art work.
While their wives and girlfriends were not there, the men from a wedding party took scores of photos from all different angles..
The stainless steel and aluminium sculpture, which weighs a whopping 34,000lbs, has raised more than a few eyebrows.
Not least because visitors to the plaza are at once confronted with Monroe's pert bottom in gleaming white panties and her perfect pins bedecked in white, open-toe kitten heels.

The Decade in News Photographs
This September 10, 2008 NASA handout image received on September 12, 2008 shows a picture of Hurricane Ike downlinked by the crew of the International Space Station, flying 220 statute miles above Earth. The center of the hurricane was near 23.8 degrees north latitude and 85.3 degrees west longitude, moving 300 degrees at 7 nautical miles per hour. The sustained winds were 80 nautical miles per hour with gusts to 100 nautical miles per hour and forecast to intensify.
Call it what you will, "the noughties", "the two-thousands" or something else, the first decade of the 21st century (2000-2009) is now over. Looking back on the past ten years through news photographs, it becomes clear that it was a dramatic, often brutal decade. Natural disasters, terrorist attacks and wars were by far the most dominant theme. Ten years ago, Bill Clinton was ending his final term in office, very few had ever heard of Osama bin Laden, the Taliban ruled Afghanistan and Saddam Hussein still ruled Iraq - all that and much more has changed in the intervening time. It's really an impossible task to sum up ten years in a handful of photographs, but below is my best attempt at a look back at the last decade - feel free to let me know what I missed in the comments below.
