Tiger Woods' New Personal Practice Facility

Immage Source

There are new pics of Tiger's new practice facility in Florida. Yahoo states that they found this news and these pictures from his blog, but the only article at his blog that I can find regarding the new practice facility was published March 7th. So Yahoo and I both are 4 months behind, I guess.

Says he: "I'm light years ahead of where I was at the end of last summer. The biggest thing is understanding what shot to hit and how to adjust my ball flight. Thanks to Sean Foley, I have a much deeper understanding of how to do this than ever before.

When will I win again? Whenever it happens, it happens. I'm just going to keep trying to progress.

Pretty soon, I'll be moving into my new home in Jupiter, Fla. I'm excited about that and even more excited about my new practice facility. It's phenomenal. Working with my team, I designed the short-game facility and oversaw its construction. It features four greens, six bunkers with different depths and kinds of sand, a video center and a putting studio. If no wind is blowing, the longest club I can hit is a 7-iron. It's also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio."

Nevertheless, here is Yahoo's article with a bunch more images of every man's dream backyard.

How Could She Have Known

I wouldn't normally post this picture, but something struck me when I saw it. This chic probably never imagined in her wildest dreams that not only would her picture be smeared all over the internets, but a picture of her simulating sex with Tiger Woods would make her "famous".

Sunday at The Masters: The Leaders

Via

Masters Sunday

Magnolia Lane. Every one of us would love to drive down it, and follow that up by playing on the course, or at worst, getting onto the property to look around. For 99% of us, it ain't gonna happen!

What a spectacular Saturday at Augusta! Phil came within a few inches of eagling 3 straight holes - something no one's ever done. Freddie eagled on a chip-in at 15, and even Kenny Perry provided some late-round heroics.

Now it's all Westwood, Phil, Freddie, and of course Tiger.

Five or six other guys could make history by posting a very low number, too, but I believe your winner will come from those four. Gotta love Freddie & Phil!

An Amazing Masters Leaderboard

Let us all embrace this incredible Masters leaderboard. Three of my all-time favorite players are showing their teeth. Phil, Freddie, and Tom Watson. Wow Tom is 60! Freddie is 50, but that's no surprise, as he's won 3 of his first 4 tourneys on the champions tour. Watson was probably my dark horse favorite golfer as I grew up. Yeah I knew it was all about Nicklaus, Palmer, Norman, Price, and Faldo...

It's just an incredible leaderboard after round-1.

Tiger? Yeah he's right there with his "best Masters 1st round ever".

Sigh.

Have fun!

Olympics, NBA Trade Deadline, And Tiger

Speed skating short track is so much more impressive than the distance skating. Even the longest distances on the short track are exciting. The jump at the gun is such an adrenaline-filled philosophical event - in 5 seconds.

Apollo Ohno just had an incredible race. But every race is a good race - and they're going at it 4 on 4. Lanes? Ehh...

The Cavs got Antawn Jamison from Washington. Serious help not named Stoudemire for King LBJ. Caron Butler was sent to Dallas, too. With Gilbert Arenas in at least a years-worth of serious legal trouble ahead of him, the Washington Wizards are now officially in rebuilding mode. Overstatement of the year, and it's only mid-February.

Dallas will continue to push the top teams in the West. Cleveland will continue on their way to a certain series for the finals. It won't be as easy as they think, though.

Pay attention Friday at 10am Central time. Tiger's gonna "break his silence".

That's in quotes because it's going to be so different than everyone expects. The media's claiming "select media" and "no questions allowed". Are you kidding me? Tiger can do nothing better for himself now than to make himself available to whoever wants to be present, and for whatever questions may exist. A limit? Of course... reasonable, like an hour.

Surely by now being the person that he is, he will have gone over this in his head a thousand times, and should be overly prepared. If he implies in any way that he still "owns" that aura he had before in his interviews, he's sadly mistaken.

My streak is at 11 right now..

Tiger Woods: I feel Sorry For The Man

This went from:

"Tiger Woods was involved in a minor, 1-car accident a block from his home at Thanksgiving."

-to-

"Tiger quit golf."

"Tiger is retiring."

"Tiger won't be back until probably May or June, and will miss his first Masters."

"I don't think he really will catch Jack Nicklaus."

...in 15 days!!

It won't surprise me if the media is posting its 92nd member of Tiger's illustrious "list". You know, sometime in March - 3 full months from now - when there are two huge golf tournaments right around the corner...

Heck, maybe news will come out that:

Tiger was on his way to his own personal lighted driving range area, when he swerved to miss his neighbor's dog, and while re-correcting, mowed over a fire hydrant on its way to coming to rest against a tree.

Tiger was never driving the Escalade. One of the 92 women came and stole it, and Tiger was chasing them down with the 3-iron.

Tiger left the house at 2 am to take a short drive to remove himself from a situation he didn't want to be in at that moment. Then he decided crashing his car felt like it'd be fun. "I'm a billionaire - why is that news?"

Tiger was leaving for the store late at night to get his wife some ice cream. He was jumped in the driveway, and in a matter of seconds overtook the assailant. The vehicle then took out a fire hydrant, a neighbor's dog, and crashed into a tree. The assailant fled.

Elin was the one driving the Escalade. She knew about a few of Tiger's real mistresses at the time, and was driving them around at his request. The mistress took over control of the vehicle for a few seconds, but was subsequently bludgeoned by Elin with a 3-iron. The body has yet to be found. Tiger says he quickly ran to get help, and saw nothing. Elin then attempted to kill her own mother a few days later. Tiger's been effectively kidnapped to Sweden. Elin releases the statement: "I was blackmaled with $58 million from about 14 women to kidnap this bastard, and remove him from the game of golf. What do I have to lose?"

One Last One

Via

And I mean last.

To the Media:

You all need to stop. Stop reporting Tiger Woods' accident. Stop reporting everything "Tiger". Wasn't hurt.. wasn't arrested.. accident. Somehow everything from this point on is the result of your actions. If it weren't for you, the story wouldn't be what it is. So why is it?

So why is it? With every day of continued coverage, you are going to expose perhaps for the first time ever your biggest flaw.. perpetuating the fact that there is so much more going on than what you choose to report. And it's not just Tiger. Or Michael.. or Anna Nicole Smith, or Lohan, Kanye, Britney... or college football BCS crap that you have no clue about.

Or how about Osama Bin Laden. Saddam Husein or 9/11 in retrospect.. Why are there no follow-ups for this? We're at war, and no one really knows why, right? Can anyone tell me why?

Or perhaps in one single 24-hour period, there are still at least a dozen good stories to report. If there are not, or if there seems to be nothing crime-related to report on, then find some good stuff! When your local news leads off with 10 straight crime reports.....

For how many months are we going to hear about Jon & Kate?

The Casey Anthony trial is coming up. You better start preparing... Now.

I Couldn't Have Said It Better Myself

..well except for the last 8 words. Otherwise I think this is a pristine attempt by one of the most famous persons there is to take full advantage of all the laws protecting the people of this country. What better way is there to show our government and its people that we the people are the owners of its own government - much moreso to our government's current challengers - that we the people are the owners of its own government.

As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.

This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.

The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.

This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.
