Who is the Most Famous?
You get a first name, and all you have to do is type the last name of the person who is the most famous with that first name. Like who is the most famous "Michael"? Yeah Jackson.. or Jordan isn't bad either. It's timed. And very fun.

How Could She Have Known

I wouldn't normally post this picture, but something struck me when I saw it. This chic probably never imagined in her wildest dreams that not only would her picture be smeared all over the internets, but a picture of her simulating sex with Tiger Woods would make her "famous".

8 Not-So-Famous Firsts
Ever wondered who received the first Social Security Card? Who was involved in the first wet T-shirt contest? Today’s your lucky day.
1. The First Hamburger Chain
McDonald’s, Burger King and that girl with the braids are better known, but they were all latecomers to the game. Walter Anderson and Billy Ingram partnered up to employ Henry Ford’s assembly line model in a restaurant setting. They opened their first White Castle in Wichita, Kansas, in 1921, a time when Americans were skeptical about the wholesomeness of ground beef. Anderson put the complete “making of” story in full view of the customer; they watched as a cook formed the ground beef into a patty and placed it on the grill. The stark white and shiny chrome theme in the building’s décor was also a subliminal hint as to the purity of the food. Sales at that first restaurant were so overwhelming that they soon opened more White Castles (each with the same interior and exterior architecture), first in Kansas and then in Nebraska and Minnesota.

Famous Hallucinations
I’ve often wondered if some element of cuckoo was necessary to create astonishing works of art, staggering pieces of writing or masterful musical compositions. This is why I’ve decided to delve a little deeper into hallucinations that have impacted a creators’ work. Hallucinations can be caused by many things aside from dropping acid or drinking mushroom tea. If you asked Freud, he’d tell you that hallucinations are the projection of our unconscious desires, wishes and thoughts. Hallucinations can also be the product of particular mental disorders, sleep deprivation as well as psychosis. This is no small topic so I’m writing this as a start-off point to a subject I am deeply fascinated by and would like to know more about. Any additional information on other famous hallucinations are encouraged, as well as discussion on whether or not you believe that “being out of one’s mind” has any influence (good or bad) on an artist’s work.
Jim Morrison: "Indians scattered on Dawn’s highway bleeding, Ghosts crowd the young child’s fragile eggshell mind..."

Celebs Who Have Survived Breast Cancer
Even rich and famous women develop breast cancer. The difference between them and us is that many have used their star-wattage to create or support organizations that encourage awareness of and research into this frightening disease.
Frightening it is! I was unaware of some of these. But boobs are good, and cancer is bad. Kudos to all women who have beaten this! Check out the list.
Here are some other famous breast cancer survivors.
And here is Wikipedia's very extensive entry on the subject, including a list of many unfortunate victims of the disease, such as Ingrid Bergman, Bette Davis, and Linda McCartney.
