Spurs are 19-3 since February 25th. In our last three games we took down Curry and the Warriors, Westbrook and the Thunder, and Harden & the Rockets. None of the three "MVP" candidates went off, and more importantly, the Spurs are on a serious ROLL! Completion of a home and home with Houston tonight IN Houston. We win this game, and we have a great chance at the #2 seed!

UPDATE: Here it is 1 day later!

Memphis has games 3 games left: @ Clippers, @Golden State, and vs. Indiana.
Spurs only have 2 games left: vs. Phoenix, and @ New Orleans.

Still Creeping Closer & Closer
Update to We're Closing In!, with 19 games to go..
Source
Spurs have withstood a 4-game losing streak since that post further down the page, and are surely coming into playoff form. Tony Parker looks MUCH closer to 100%, and the offensive ball movement that blew everyone away during last year's Finals is showing its presence again, finally! Defense has been solid, and yet is still getting better all the time.
I've said it most of the season -- That #3 seed is still ripe for the taking!

Western Conference Finals are Set!
Thanks to the Oklahoma City Thunder closing the Lakers 4-1 a little bit ago, the Western Conference Finals are now set. Sunday night it will all begin. Not sure why they are waiting until Sunday, but I don't make the schedule. As always games 1&2 are in SA, and 3&4 are in OKC. Then 5&7 if necessary would be in SA, and 6 if necessary would be in OKC.
Last night the Clippers gave us everything they had - taking us right down to the wire. I was actually glad the Spurs got to experience a close game for the first time in quite a while. Spurs had SIX guys in double figures, and Chris Paul had his best game of the series, with with 23pts., 11 asst., and 6reb.! Griffin had another strong game with 21, and a few spectacular dunks, but CP3 had TWO chances at the end, but didn't get it done either time. Spurs pulled it out 102-99 for a second straight 4-0 sweep, and our 18th straight win. I'm not gonna write a review, but I'll certainly post ESPN's Spurs/Clippers game-4 recap, as well as EPSN's boxscore..
Bring it on OKC - See you Sunday!

What Were They Thinking?

Original Source
Hey I guess we oughta give 'em t-shirts for the game, huh?
Oh yeah - it rocks! It shows so much unity..
OK, well our colors are navy, light royal, white, and silver. Which one should we use?
Let's see - what color are we wearing?
We're at home.. It's kosher to wear the white jerseys at home.
OK - then I assume they're wearing their blue jerseys?
Yes, that's right.
OK let's give 'em blue shirts.
Makes sense to me.

Rivalry Renewed

This is really a super stat page for last night's Spurs/Mavs game.. Yeah we shot 53% and lost to a team that shot 49%. Well that might happen against a good team who does just about everything else better on this night. But hey, a playoff atmosphere, a ton of positives came out of this game, we so-o-o had them, and our last meeting with them is game #last (82). Seedings? These are the two teams that will produce the division winner. One will probably be 2, and the other no worse than 5. The most important number on the whole page is circled in red.

Keep Blair out of early foul trouble. This is a GREAT 10-man rotation they've had here for the last 5-6 games. Notice Bonner and Finley haven't even been in the picture! Pop's gotta be smart and not interrupt what's going on right now. Frankly, I don't see how giving Finley 8-10 minutes is really that bad, but if Bonner is in the starting lineup anytime soon, that's just plain wrong.
