The Cactus Cuties

Ahh an oldie, but goodie. These girls are incredible, and I never get tired of hearing their awesome version of our National Anthem.

The Cactus Cuties are Baylee Barrett, Blaire Elbert, Andi Kitten, and Madeline Powell, directed by Cami Caldwell. The Cuties originated from a mentorship program of Don and Terri Caldwell’s historic Cactus Theater in Lubbock, Texas.

Even at their young ages, the Cactus Cuties are already seasoned veterans. They have delighted audiences for years with their beautiful harmony and charismatic presence. Their arrangement of “The Star-Spangled Banner” garnered five million hits on YouTube in only three months, touching hearts all over the world.

The Top 10 Movie Drinks

Booze and films go together. Not only are filmmakers and actors some of the best drinkers, a recent study that sampled 601 movies found alcohol use in 92% of them. Seeing Frank the Tank knock back beers and Steve Zissou sip Campari on ice makes the mouth water. Since drinking alone may cause alarm, get friends over for a movie cocktail night. With everyone on a budget these days, it’s a great way to spend a night. It can also be a romantic date that’s easy on the bank account. Below are the best and most unique drinks from cinema history. You’ll seem like a celluloid mixologist, introducing friends to new cocktails, movie facts, and the history behind the drinks.

Complete with recipes! See the list..

Celebs Who Have Survived Breast Cancer

Even rich and famous women develop breast cancer. The difference between them and us is that many have used their star-wattage to create or support organizations that encourage awareness of and research into this frightening disease.

Frightening it is! I was unaware of some of these. But boobs are good, and cancer is bad. Kudos to all women who have beaten this! Check out the list.

Here are some other famous breast cancer survivors.

And here is Wikipedia's very extensive entry on the subject, including a list of many unfortunate victims of the disease, such as Ingrid Bergman, Bette Davis, and Linda McCartney.

The Top-10 Adam Sandler Movies

The top 10 best Adam Sandler movies. Comedian. Actor. Musician. Singer. Writer. Producer. Swell guy (probably). The sum of all these parts makes Adam Sander who he is today; a much loved and much viewed working entertainer. He makes us laugh. He makes it look easy. There are few comedic actors who have been at the top of the box office for as long as The Sandman, so let’s appreciate this multi-talented dude.

My list would be ordered quite differently, but being a huge AS fan, this is still a great list. And you should go check it out. . .

95 Totally Bookmark-Worthy Sites

From techradar.com, here are 95 sites everyone should bookmark.

Google is the internet surfer's best friend and worst enemy. If you know what you're after, just type it into the search engine's famous little box and – hey presto – you'll be given a list of related sites in order of relevance.

Such is Google's dominance that its name has become a synonym for search. And rightly so. When was the last time you Yahooed something? And good though Bing is, it's not ringing our bell just yet. There's a problem, though.

Searching for something implies you know what you're looking for. Gold prospectors search for gold; they don't scour the earth on the off-chance there's something which may or may not be of any value knocking around. So what happens if you don't know what you're looking for; if you just want to be amazed?

How do you ask Google for some brilliant sites, sites which will feed your mind, soul or just let you waste time in style? If you're in that kind of mood, you're in the right place. Welcome to PC Plus's directory of the best websites on the internet.

Our experts have put their thinking caps on and come up with a list of their favourite sites. So, do yourself a favour: forget Google for a while and put your trust in us. Continue reading.."
