That's why my posts have been very limited lately. I'm utilizing a lot of time preparing. Just letting you know so you don't think I quit posting at all. No worries!

Back From Vacation Safe & Sound (OC)

Hey everyone!

OK so very soon after my fantasy draft last Friday night, the wife and I took a short vacation to the coast. It seemed as if we were attempting to meet hurricane Isaac in Galveston. As it turned out, you would've never known by the weather the last two days down there, that there was a hurricane coming. We had a cool couple days, and made it home with a day or two to spare.

I'll have a few pictures to upload in a few days. Just know that I'm now back to posting at regular pace, and aside from normal fantasy football operations, things will be back to normal here at One For The Road.

Above is a picture I snapped quickly of the back of a truck with my phone. It was only afterward that I realized it was Michael Jordan's head. Must have been a truck carying a gigantic load of Michael Jordan cologne. At least that's what the truck says.

Fantasy Football is Almost Here!

Posts just might be a little slower than usual this week. The NFL season starts in 2 weeks, and I'll be drafting most of my teams this week. So I've been doing a bunch of player stats & research.. and stuff.

Don't worry, though.. I'll still find some good stuff! As always, I thank you for coming!

Internet Issues

Router died. Old Modem may as well be replaced on the same day - provided by our ISP.

Trouble with setting up the new router. Wife tried for a few hours first. I call ISP.. No help.

Go through all set-up steps. Realize the last thing you ever do is power on the router.

I apologize for lack of posts the last couple days, but I was rear-ended Friday. To add insult to injury, the dude fled the scene.

So anyway I just haven't felt like it, but posts should resume later tonight.
