Interesting Jordan/LeBron Comparison

Via                                                                                                                                                                     Click to zoom

The shaded area is obviously still to be determined by LeBron James. What's cool about this is when you look at each's career together like this, you realize not only that LeBron has a hell of a lot left to achieve, but that it took Jordan a little longer to "get going" than most of us probably remember!

Back From Vacation Safe & Sound (OC)

Mine..

Hey everyone!

OK so very soon after my fantasy draft last Friday night, the wife and I took a short vacation to the coast. It seemed as if we were attempting to meet hurricane Isaac in Galveston. As it turned out, you would've never known by the weather the last two days down there, that there was a hurricane coming. We had a cool couple days, and made it home with a day or two to spare.

I'll have a few pictures to upload in a few days. Just know that I'm now back to posting at regular pace, and aside from normal fantasy football operations, things will be back to normal here at One For The Road.

Above is a picture I snapped quickly of the back of a truck with my phone. It was only afterward that I realized it was Michael Jordan's head. Must have been a truck carying a gigantic load of Michael Jordan cologne. At least that's what the truck says.

More to come about our little trip. Stay tuned!

Jordan - Hands Down

Who is GOAT?
Via

Why is this even up for debate? Especially once the infographic was even created, and it's painfully obvious that it's not even close?

But wait, Kobe might be able to play for many more seasons. It might take him 15 more...

LeBron: No One Should Wear 23 Anymore

In a post-game interview with NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager, LeBron James was recorded claiming he doesn't feel anyone in the league should ever wear #23 again. This was James' response when asked how he felt about Michael Jordan being present at the game to watch him go head-to-head against Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade. He mentioned it would be easy for him to change his number to 6, the number he's worn for USA Olympic basketball.

When asked what team will be creating this new #6 for him, he declined to comment - as he's doing for months. No doubt he's bothered by that possibility, but obvious to most he could pretty much write his own contract.

By the way, I happen to agree with LeBron. The number 23 should be permanently retired.

Surely I'll be updating this post. Click on LeBron up above to read Ohio.com's first-news take on the story. I got my info from the actual live ESPN post-game interview.
