New Printer

It's cheaper to buy a new printer than it is to buy new printer ink.
OK, not always, but it's something to think about.
It's so expensive I haven't bought new ink for my 4-year old printer in about 2 years. Text prints fine in another color besides black. Otherwise - I don't print.

It's All In The Value
ViaThe next time you see a news report that shows a "huge marijuana bust," pay attention. They always mention the quantity of weed they confiscated, and sometimes they mention a bunch of money that was also confiscated, but when they mention the "street value" of their bust, take a moment and think about this.
By the way, the above is a very small example. What would you think if they said the street value was $7 million??
What if, instead, you saw a news report of a guy who was found with $2 million dollars worth of jewelry in his suitcase that he packed before his move? Or what if the guy was a doctor and he had a bunch of vials of extremely valuable anti-venom? Maybe a huge truck from one of those air conditioner companies was stopped with a lot of that very valuable copper tubing that tons of people are being arrested for these days? Or sugar? Or wheat, or cotton?
The point is the value. What happens to the millions and millions of dollars of value that all this marijuana has once the police confiscate it?

Analysts looked at day-by-day car pricing for the last several years. That data revealed that discounts on Black Friday are, on average, the biggest of the year. "The discounts from dealerships, as well as manufacturers' incentives, generate the highest discounts of the year on Black Friday," said Jesse Toprak, an analyst for Truecar.com.
Unlike typical Black Friday sales where customers know exactly what they'll pay for an item, car prices are individually negotiated the day of the sale, so it's difficult for customers to know ahead of time they'll be getting a deal. But there's been a clear trend, Toprak said.

(Note: No, the article says nothing about the new Toyota Tundra, I'm just partial to Tundras as I've owned 2.)
