I've always wondered why senior citizens get so many discounts. When I used to go play golf with my Dad, he'd go up to the counter, and say "one senior, one regular." I'd be like, "why is it that you get the discount - you're the one with the money?"
Most of the time, the guy at the counter just laughed. Why? ..because he was usually a senior too!

I may have seen this sign. Then again, probably not - I remember seeing a bunch of signs like this in southeast California, and West Texas also. The only difference is it seemed more like 222 miles.

The 2010 NBA Season Is On

The Boston Celtics just ruined the Miami Heat's opening night. Yeah it was in Boston, but all we've heard about for 6 months is LeBron this King James that.. Miami's new big-three.. Championship bound.. blah blah blah. Right!
I'd put them at best 3rd.. in the East!
Lakers/Rockets is next for this opening night. Then by tomorrow night most teams will have begun - including my Spurs, who open at home against the Thin-diana Pacers.
Time to take a break - the last thing I want to do is watch these LA Fakers get their rings.

Where The Buffalo Roam
Some guy in Georgia captured on camera a buffalo that had - either intentionally or unintentionally - gotten into his semi-covered swimming pool.
